Delivery Information
We want your order to arrive quickly and without any surprises. Please read the information below before placing your order. If you have any questions, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
UK Delivery
Standard Delivery — £3.99 (free on orders over £40)
Standard delivery is available to all UK addresses. Orders are typically dispatched within 1 working day and delivered within 5 working days of your order being placed. We ship primarily with Royal Mail and DPD. All prices include VAT.
Express Delivery — from £5.99
Express delivery is a 1–2 working day service available to UK mainland addresses. To qualify, your order must be placed before 1:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding English public holidays). Please note that express delivery is not a guaranteed next-day service and coffee beans are not eligible for express dispatch.
British Isles (Guernsey, Isle of Man & Jersey) — £18.00
Standard delivery to the British Isles (Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey) is £18.00. Express delivery is not available to these destinations.
Split shipments
Some orders may be dispatched from more than one location, which means your items could arrive in separate parcels and at different times. You will not be charged additional delivery fees for split shipments.
European Delivery
Standard Delivery — calculated at checkout
We deliver to most European countries. Delivery typically takes 2–15 working days from the date your order is placed. The exact delivery cost will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Important — DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): European orders are shipped on a DDU basis. This means that any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country are your responsibility and are not included in your order total. We recommend checking your local customs rules before ordering. We are unable to predict, advise on, or refund these charges.
Rest of World Delivery
We ship to many countries worldwide. Delivery costs and available options will be shown at checkout. If your order is particularly large or heavy, we may need to contact you regarding additional shipping charges before we dispatch your goods — we will always do this before shipping and never charge you without prior agreement.
Important — DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): All international orders outside the UK are shipped on a DDU basis. Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the buyer's responsibility. We are unable to predict, refund, or reimburse these charges.
Your rights under UK law
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. This 14-day period begins the day after you receive your order (or the last item, if your order arrives in multiple shipments).
To cancel an order, please contact us at hello@coffeehit.co.uk or use our return page before the 14-day period expires. Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. You will receive a full refund of the product price within 14 days of us receiving the returned items, or within 14 days of you providing proof of return, whichever is earlier.
Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning items to us unless the goods are faulty or not as described. If you received free delivery on your original order, we will refund the standard delivery cost only (not any upgraded delivery option chosen).

Delivery timeframes and delays
Delivery estimates are given in good faith based on typical carrier performance. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if we do not deliver within the timeframe agreed at checkout, you may be entitled to a full refund. If no specific timeframe was agreed, we must deliver within 30 days of the order date. If you experience a significant delay, please contact us and we will investigate with our carrier on your behalf.
Damaged or missing orders
If your order arrives damaged, or if part of your order is missing, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where possible, please keep the original packaging and take photographs of any damage, as this helps us raise a claim with our carrier.
Order not arrived?
If your order has not arrived within 7 days (UK) or 14 days (rest of world) from the date of your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate with our carrier. Please be aware that we are unable to raise a claim with our carrier or process a replacement or refund for non-delivery if you contact us more than 30 days after your order date. This reporting window does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
