Ajay Phakey – Third Wave Roast Head Roaster –realised he wanted to change bland, passionless coffees of the 'big names' on the high street. So he carried out a global search from London to New Orleans and Iceland to South Africa, and many others places, to bring together the best experiences speciality coffee has to offer.

HOWDOES THIRD WAVE ROAST COFFEE?

The team atThird Wave Roast pride themselves on providing you with freshly roasted 100% Arabica speciality beans from all around the world. They roast in small batches giving each roast the care and attention needed for optimum quality while producing perfectly roasted beans.

The roast flavours are light to medium, which reduces the bitter taste associated with coffee. Instead, their coffees bring a wide variety of tasting notes from floral to fruity, chocolate, and nutty.

BRAZIL – CERRADO MINEIRO

Available in Wholebean and Ground (medium drip) in 250g bags, Cerrado Mineiro has a taste of Plum, Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate. The beans are sourced from Brazil and dark roasted, which is perfect for espresso.

INDONESIA BENER MERIAH

Sourced from Indonesia, Bener Meriah is a medium roasted coffee perfect for espresso.  The flavour notes are Raspberry, Tamarind and Dark Chocolate

QUINDIO DECAF

Sourced from Columbia, Quindio decaf is a dark roast coffee perfect for espresso. The flavour notes are milk chocolate and toffee.

KAKU

Sourced from China, Kaku Third Wave Coffee is a light roast coffee perfect for being filtered. The flavour notes are butterscotch, citrus and granny apple.

SAN ISIDRO

Sourced from Honduras, San Isidro is a medium roast coffee perfect for filter and espresso. The flavour notes are orange, stone fruit and spices.

PHA YAR GYI KONE 

Sourced from Myanmar, Pha Yar Gyi Kone is a light roast coffee perfect for being filtered. The flavour notes are strawberry, blackberry and vanilla.
